A UNIQUE NORTHWEST VENUE
Bat Cave is improvised funk/soul brought to you by a collective of heavy hitters from the northwest, including members of: Vaughn Kreestoe, Polecat, Acorn Project, Snug Harbor and more. Dance music.
Beautiful twin harmonies, layered upon acoustic instrumentation coupled with Laurie’s inventive use of a looping machine, and Katelyn’s repurposed telephone microphone, set their sound apart, creating an eclectic and eccentric blend of folk, roots, pop and fun.
St. Paul de Vence
This Seattle band’s debut full-length is an often-stirring set of campfire folk-pop that’s reminiscent at times of a more French-influenced The Head and The Heart. The band’s dynamic, acoustic-oriented sound includes guitars, accordion, ukulele, autoharp, banjo, mandolin, assorted percussion and more fleshing out well-crafted songs with warm, soulful harmonies and occasional anthemic choruses.
