A UNIQUE NORTHWEST VENUE
Beautiful twin harmonies, layered upon acoustic instrumentation coupled with Laurie’s inventive use of a looping machine, and Katelyn’s repurposed telephone microphone, set their sound apart, creating an eclectic and eccentric blend of folk, roots, pop and fun.
The California Honeydrops
“…There’s a band out of the Bay Area where I live called the California Honeydrops…They’ve been around in Oakland for 10 years. California Honeydrops, they’re getting a lot of play on my turntable lately.” - Bonnie Raitt
St. Paul de Vence
This Seattle band’s debut full-length is an often-stirring set of campfire folk-pop that’s reminiscent at times of a more French-influenced The Head and The Heart. The band’s dynamic, acoustic-oriented sound includes guitars, accordion, ukulele, autoharp, banjo, mandolin, assorted percussion and more fleshing out well-crafted songs with warm, soulful harmonies and occasional anthemic choruses.
